I am paraphrasing here... Star is like how can you have all this hype and build up and make such a sucky video. Callin the Canadian sensation "Mullato" like himself. With folks claimin you to be the best thing since sliced bread and you spent like $800 dollars on the video. He goes on to talkin bout the chicks in clip callin em "Leftover E-40 bitches", then was like, I like big tittie broads but thats the white in me, another reference to his mix breed heritage. He went on say that Drake had women around the world "open" and the bouncing double d's were the best he could come up with... Apparently there were a number of folks that were laughin at dude because of the buzz (or his image) or were in the "bidding war" for his services, that were ultimately won over by Lil' Wayne (Young Money) and Universal Republic, such as Lyor Cohne, Diddy, 50 Cent among others.
Star went in on Kanye the director of the video and even went as far to say that Yeezy was probably laughin at the end of the shoot and the "it" girl of the moment (and West's lady friend / companion / trophy broad) Amber Rose did the editing. The whole thing is ridiculous. The concept of Drake being a coach of a female basketball team never even fit in, not even when they broke away to the halftime pep talk...
Personally, the video was not as good as the song. The cameos by Trey Songz and Fabolous and others even made it look like they were saying to themselves, "What am I doin in this wack video?" I surely hope that both Songz and Fabo do some damage control before this mockery gets outta hand on the real though... Anyways, the video is wack, the song is mediocre at best and surely the buzz over him and this album, will be bigger than the album...

@&$! **UPDATE** !$&@
This just in...I saw this on SOULBOUNCE.COM posted by Harlem... I told yall I wasnt the only one with Drake hate in my heart
The video for Drake's "Best I Ever Had" dropped yesterday. As did my jaw when I first saw it. Directed by Kanye West, the clip feels like an adolescent fantasy, filled with big breasted girls and um, not much else. I guess you could insert your own Degrassi: The Next Generation jokes here. Seriously, the video is lacking...everything. I expected more from Ye and his high-concept imagination ("Flashing Lights," etc.). Instead, he left nothing to the imagination. Shame.
The 22-year old tried to explain it away in an interview with Complex magazine:

The 22-year old tried to explain it away in an interview with Complex magazine:
"Basically we decided, as opposed to taking ourselves super serious, we just wanted to have some fun with it. Myself, being a young man, a young single man at that, I kind of wanted to be real about the way I function with women at this current point in my life. Which is, I don't have one woman that I call my girl. There's different girls in my life that play different roles and I see at different times, but collectively they kind of make up the roster of happiness for me [Laughs]."Well, I guess that "kind of" makes sense. With that said, though, Drake... come better next time. [No Laugh] Video after the bounce.
